Directorate of Sericulture, Assam Recruitment for Junior & Section Assistant 2013

The Directorate of Sericulture, Assam has recently published a recruitment notification for engagement of Junior Assistant and Section Assistant in the directorate and district level offices. The said department is going to appoint 16 numbers of Junior Assistant in Head Quarters and 15 numbers of Section Assistant in district level through this recruitment process. Any Indian citizen having registered name at the Employment Exchanges of Assam can apply for the posts. 1. Name of the Position : Junior Assistant (HQ)

Number of vacancies : 16

Reservation : Unreserved-5, OBC/MOBC-7, ST(p)-3 and ST(H)-1.

Pay Scale : Rs. 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2,200/-.

Educational Qualification : Applicant must qualify Higher Secondary Examination from a government recognized institution. Apart from this basic educational qualification, applicant should have computer application certificate or BCA degree.

2. Name of the Position : Section Assistant ( District Level)

Number of vacancies : 15

Reservation : Unreserved-9 and ST(H)-6.

Pay Scale : Rs. 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2,200/-.

Educational Qualification : Same as for the above position.

In all cases of reservation, 30% of the total post will be reserved for women and 3% will be reserved for physically handicap person. The age limit for the above two position is 18 years to 38 years as on 1^st January, 2013.

How to Apply

Interested candidates need to apply through the Standard Form as published in the Assam Gazette Part IX. The completed standard form must be sent in an envelope along with the following testimonials-

• Certificate and Mark-sheet of qualifying examination,
• Employment Exchange Registration Certificate,
• Age proof Certificate,
• Caste Certificate if applicable,
• Two copies of recent passport size photograph with the sign of the candidate at the top and attested by Gazetted Officer,
• One self addressed envelop of size 23cm * 10 cm with a stamp of Rs. 5/- affixed on it.
