Sub-Assistant Electrical Inspector and Junior Assistant Posts under the inspectorate of Electricity, Assam[2013]

This update is for the positions of Sub-Assistant Electrical Inspector and Junior Assistant under the inspectorate of Electricity, Assam. 1. Name of the Position : Sub-Assistant Electrical Inspector
   Number of Posts : 2 (1 is reserved for OBC/MOBC)
   Scale of Pay : Rs. 5,200-20,200/- plus grade pay Rs. 2,200/-

Educational Qualification : Candidates must have passed passed H.S.L.C Examination and passes an ITI pass certificates in Electrician Trade or its equivalent from a government training institute or equivalent institution recognized by National Council for Vocational Training. Candidates also must be engage in the practice session for two years.

2. Name of the Position : Junior Assistant (at Guwahati Head Quarter)
   Number of Posts : 6 (2 reserved for OBC/MOBC, 1 for SC, 1 for ST)
   Scale of Pay : Rs. 5,200-20,200/- plus grade pay Rs. 2,200/-

Educational Qualification : Candidates must have passed HSSLC Examination and must have a qualify a diploma in type writing both in English and Assamese and Computer Application. Also, the candidates should have adequate knowledge DTP, E-mail service etc.

For both the position, candidates must be citizen of India and should have age in the range 18 to 38 years as on 1^st January, 2013. Short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test and viva-voce.

Candidates have to apply in standard form with the following documents-

1. One self addressed envelop of 5 cm x 11 cm affixing unused postal stamp of Rs. 5/-.
2. Attested copies of all certificates in support of educational qualification, age, caste and experience.
3. Two copies of recent passport size photograph signed and dated by the candidate on backside,
4. Attested copies of valid registration certificates of employment exchange.
