National Research Centre on Pig, Rani,
Guwahati invites eligible candidates to appear in a walk in interview
for filling up a post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF). The SRF will
be selected for the project “Establishment of Biotech Hubs by DBT
under Special Programme for North-Eastern States of India”. The
post will be purely on contractual basis of which period of work may
be extended or reduced as per the fulfillment of the project.
Number of Vacancies : 1
Renumeration : The candidates who have
graduated in Veterinary Science will get renumeration as Rs. 18,000/-
+ HRA (Fixed) and for those who have graduated in other than
Veterinary Science will be paid as Rs. 16,000/- + HRA (Fixed).
Qualification : Candidates must be a
M.V.Sc., M.Tech or M.Sc. Holder in Animal Genetics and Breeding,
Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry or Computer Science etc.
The candidates having working experience in handling animal breeding
data, wet-lab work or Computer Applications will be preferred most.
Age Limit : The upper age limit for the
position is 35 years. Age will be relaxed for candidates belonging to
reserved categories as per government rule.

3rd August, 2013 at 11 pm in the below mentioned address.
Candidates have to bring their CV, two passport size photographs,
attested copies of all certificates, experience certificates etc.
They should also bring the original copies of all documents and
produce them at the time of interview. Candidates will not get any TA
or DA payment for appearing the interview.
