Scale of Pay : Rs. 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2,200/-.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed minimum HSLC Examination and obtained a diploma in type writing.
• Applicant should have basic computer knowledge specially of MS office.
• He/She must also be able to type 40 and 30 words per minutes in English and Assamese respectively.
• The candidates must have registered their names in Employment Exchange Offices of the concerned districts.
• Age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years as on 1^st January, 2013.

Application Procedure

Candidates have to apply through Standard form as published in the Assam Gazette in part IX. Candidates have to enclosed attested copies of all necessary documents which bear proof of age, caste etc, a self addressed envelope of 10*4.5 affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5/- and three recent passport size photograph duly attested by the candidates. Completed application form must be submitted in the following address on or before 12^th August, 2013.

Selection Procedure

A written test will be conducted for selecting the candidates for the posts. The written test will be of 100 marks consisting of 35 marks for English, 35 marks for Mathematics and 30 marks for general knowledge. The duration of the test will be 3 hours. The date of the of written test will be informed to the candidates in the calling letters which will be issued in time. The successful candidates in the written test will be called for viva-voce and type test for final selection.
