The Directorate of Technical Education,
Assam has published an advertisement notifying the recruitment of
various vacant posts. The recruitment will be held for the position
of Junior Assistant, Stenographer, Junior Instructor, Assistant
Instructor, Scientific Assistant, Laboratory Assistant and Cashier.
Number of vacancies of the respective posts are as follows-
1. Name of the Posts : Junior Assistant
(H.O.)

Scale of Pay : Rs. 5,200-20,200/- with
Grade Pay Rs. 2,400/-.
Qualification : Candidates must have
passed HSSLC in any stream with minimum 45% marks (for SC/ST 40%).
Candidates should have Type Writing certificate both in English and
Assamese and also must be eligible to type 30 and 48 words in
Assamese and English respectively. Having a diploma in Office
Management from a institution recognized by AICTE is preferential.

Tally, Accountancy etc.
In all cases, age of the applicant
should not be less than 18 years and more than 38 years as on 1st
January, 2014.

with the inclusions of attested copies of testimonials regarding
qualification, Age, caste, Employment Exchange Registration Number,
self addressed envelop of 25cm x 12cm affixed with postal stamp of
Rs. 5/- etc along with 3 copies of recent attested passport size
photograph. Applicant should clearly write the name of the post to be
applied on the top of the envelop. Application should reach the
following place latest by 10th January, 2014 up to 3.00
