21 Junior Assistant Posts & 8 Peon Posts under Directorate of Audit (Local Fund), Assam

The Directorate of Audit (Local Fund), Assam has issued an recruitment notice for filling up 21 numbers of vacant posts of Junior Assistant at directorate and district level in the State and 8 numbers of vacant posts of Peon. 1. Name of the Position : Junior Assistant (HQ)

Number of vacancies : 6

Reservation : Unreserved-1, OBC/MOBC-3, ST(P)-2

Pay Scale : Rs. 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2,200/-.

Educational Qualification : Applicant must qualify Higher Secondary Examination from a government recognized institution. Apart from this basic educational qualification, applicant should have computer application certificate or BCA degree.

2. Name of the Position : Junior Assistant ( District Level)

Number of vacancies : 15

Reservation : Unreserved-5, OBC/MOBC- 9, and ST(P)- 1.

Pay Scale : Rs. 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2,200/-.

Educational Qualification : Same as for the above position.

   3. Name of the Position : Grade IV (Peon)

Number of vacancies : 8

Reservation : Unreserved-5, OBC/MOBC- 3.

Pay Scale : Rs. 4,560-15,000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1,500/-.

Educational Qualification : The minimum educational qualification required is class VIII passed.

The age limit for the above positions is 18 years to 38 years as on 1^st January, 2013. Relaxation of age is applicable as per rule.

How to Apply

Interested candidates need to apply through the Standard Form as published in the Assam Gazette Part IX. Candidates have to deposit Rs. 50/- (Rs. 25/- for reserved category) as application fee by postal order in favour Director of Audit (Local Fund), Assam, Guwahati-6. The completed standard form must be sent in an envelope along with the following testimonials-

1. Certificate and Mark-sheet of qualifying examination,
2. Employment Exchange Registration Certificate,
3. Age proof Certificate,
4. Caste Certificate if applicable,
5. Three copies of recent passport size photograph with the sign of the candidate at the top and attested by Gazetted Officer,
6. Two self addressed envelop of size 10”x4.5” with a stamp of Rs. 5/- affixed on it.
