NF Railway Group D Recruitment 2013

Railway Recruitment Cell, North East Frontier Railway has published an employment notice for filling up posts in Group-D. There are total 1230 number of posts to be recruited. Applications are invited from the eligible citizens of India for the said position which offers pay band-1 as remuneration. Educational Qualification

The minimum educational qualification required is to qualify matriculation, that means 10^th standard passed or ITI or any equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

Age Limit

The age of the applicant should not be less than 18 years and more than 33 years. However, there is a relaxation of 3 years and 5 years for the candidates belonging to OBC and SC/ST category respectively. For the persons with disability, the upper age limit is set to 43 years in case he/she is a general candidates, 46 years if OBC and 48 years if SC/ST candidates.

Examination Fees

The applicants have to pay an examination fee of Rs. 100/- which should be paid in the form of Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of FA & CAO, N.F. Railway and payable at GPO, Guwahati. The Postal Order must be enclosed along with the application form. Candidates belonging to SC/ST, PH, women, minorities, ex-servicemen and economically background classes can appear free of cost.

Selection Procedure

The recruitment will be done on the basis of a Written Test followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The date of written test will be fixed based on administrative feasibility. The written Test will be of 90 minutes carrying 100 multiple choice questions based on class 10^th standard on the subjects General Knowledge, Mathematics, General Science, reasoning etc.

The Physical Efficiency Test includes 1000 metres run in 4 minutes 15 seconds in case of male and 400 metres run in 3 minutes 10 seconds in case of female candidates.

Download the format of application form from here. Fill up the form carefully with black ball pen only. The following documents must be enclosed along with the completed application form-

• A recent passport size coloured photograph,
• Indian Postal Order of Rs. 100/- if applicable which should be enclosed at the top of the application.
• Self attested copy of Certificate of educational qualification with mark-sheet,
• Self attested copy of HSLC certificate for age proof,
• Caste Certificate if applicable.
