Number of Post : 3

Scale of Pay : Rs. 4,560-15,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 1,500/-

Qualification : Minimum qualification required for the post is class 7 passed.

Age Limit : Age of the applicant should be in between 18 years to 38 years as on 1^st July, 2013.

Name of the Post : Chowkider (Day & Night)

Number of Post : 2

Scale of Pay : Rs. 4,560-15,000/- + Grade Pay Rs. 1,500/-

Qualification : Minimum qualification required for the post is class 7 passed.

Age Limit : Age of the applicant should be in between 18 years to 38 years as on 1^st July, 2013.

Place of Posting : Majuli, Titabar or Jorhat.

How to Apply : Applicants have to submit a standard application form with all relevant documents with three copies of recent passport photos at the Office of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jorhat on or before 1^st July, 2013.

Selection Procedure : The candidates will be selected for the posts of Process Server and Peon on the basis of a Written Test followed by viva-voce. The date of Test will be announced in the official website www.jorhatjudiciary.gov.in. For the Chowkider post, candidates will be selected through viva-voce. The list of selected candidates will be uploaded on the website.
