An advertisement has been published by
Registrar, GU inviting application in prescribed form for the few
posts on contractual basis in the Institute of Distance and Open
Learning, Gauhati University. The details of the posts are as given
below-
Name of the Post : Academic Consultant
(History, mathematics, Philosophy and Bodo)
Pay : Rs. 21,000/-
Age : Not above 45 years as on 1st
January, 2014.
Qualification : Masters Degree in
concerned subject with NET/SLET/Ph.D is required. Good communication
skill and experience will add extra chance of selection.
Name of the Post : Personal Assistant
of the Director
Pay : Rs. 8,000-38,000/- with Grade Pay
Rs. 4,500/-.
Age : Not above 38 years as on 1st
January, 2014.
Qualification : Graduate of post
graduate degree along with diploma in English Stenography with typing
speed of 100 wpm. The knowledge of stenography may be relaxed if the
candidates have good knowledge of computer skill.

idol's website www.idolgu.in.
Candidates have to deposit an amount of Rs. 500 ( Rs. 250 in case of
SC or ST) as application fee either through SBI cash counter at GU or
Demand Draft in favour of Registrar, Gauhati University payable at
SBI, Gauhati University branch. Candidates are requested to submit
form within 15th Of May, 2014.
