APSC to Recruit Assistant Engineer & Junior Engineer (Civil) under Irrigation Department [2014]

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) invites application from the eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of 133 (one hundred thirty three) Assistant Engineer (Civil) and 125 (one hundred twenty five) Junior Engineer under the Government of Assam. The requisite qualifications, scale of pay, reservations etc is listed against the position below-

1. Name of the Post : Assistant Engineer (Civil) under Irrigation Department

Number of posts : 133

Reservations :

Scale of Pay : Rs. 12,000-40,000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/- plus other allowances as per admissible under the rules.

Age : Age of the candidates should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years as on 1^st January, 2013. However, there is relaxation of age for the candidates of reserved category.

Educational Qualification : Candidates must have passed B.E. Degree in Civil Engineering from any institute recognized by AICTE.

2. Name of the Post : Junior Engineer (Civil) under Irrigation Department

Number of posts : 125

Reservations :

Scale of Pay : Rs. 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 3,300/- plus other allowances as per admissible under the rules.

Age : Age of the candidates should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years as on 1^st January, 2013. However, there is relaxation of age for the candidates of reserved category.

Educational Qualification : Candidates must have passed 3 years diploma in Civil Engineering from any institute recognized by AICTE.

Application form may be obtained from the issue and receipt section of the Assam Public Service Commission, Jawahar Nagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 on written requisition addressed to the Deputy Secretary, APSC stating clearly the name of the post and department up to 4 pm during office hours or may be downloaded from the official website of APSC- www.apsc.nic.in. Completed application form including all particulars and original treasury challan for Rs. 5/- (Rs. 2.50/- for SC/ST) as application fee showing name of the post and department and also full head of account “NON-TAX REVENUE -OTHER NON-TAX REVENUE-0051-PSC, 102-STATE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION APPLICATION/EXAMINATION FEE RECEIPT OF A.P.S.C.” should reach Assam Public Service Commission, Jawahar Nagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22 by 18^th January, 2014.
