Assam Husbandry & Veterinary
Department, Assam invites application forms from the eligible Indian
candidates for the posts of Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA). There
are 40 posts in total for the said position. It is to be noted that
the recruitment is totally on contractual basis. Here you will find

Reservation : Gen-18, ST(P)- 4, SC- 3,
ST(H)- 2, OBC- 11
Pay Band : Rs. 5,200-20,200/- with
Grade Pay of Rs. 2,100/-.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed 'Elementary
Knowledge of Veterinary Science' Examination from the “School of
Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science” established by the Govt.
of Assam at Ghugnoor, Silchar or Khanapara, Guwahati. Apart from this
qualification, candidates must also have to qualify the HSLC
Examination as the basic qualification.
Age Limit
The age of the candidates should not be
less than 18 years and should not be more than 45 years. The age
limit for the said recruitment of VFA will be considered as on 1st
January, 2013.
Physical Standard
The candidates should mentally and
physically fit and free from organic defects as the posts are
efficient performance. The candidates have to undergo a medical test
before engagement to the service.
How to Apply
The interested candidates may apply
through a standard form. Candidates have to enclosed following
documents along with the application form-
- Attested copies of Certificates of Qualification,
- Attested copies of Certificate of Caste,
- 3 Attested copies of recent passport size photograph,
- A self addressed envelope affixing stamps of Rs. 5/-.
Candidates with proper qualifications
and documents will be called for appear, date of which will be
informed later on by the concerned department. Candidates have to
submit the filled in application form along with the required
documents at the Office of the Director, Assam Husbandry &
Veterinary Department, Assam, Guwahati-3 by 19th August,
2013.
