eligible person for one post of Assistant Professor in English on
contractual basis in IDOL, Gauhati University and one post of System

For the post Assistant Professor in
English :
Number of Post : 1
Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with
Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/-(as per UGC rules)
Qualification : The minimum
qualification required for the post will be considered as per UGC

Age Limit : Age of a candidate should
not be less than 45 years as on 1st June, 2013.
For the post System Administrator :
Number of Post : 1
Scale of Pay : Rs. 12,000-40,000/- with
Grade Pay of Rs. 6,100/-(CPC)
Qualification : Applicants with with
B.E. Or B.Tech in CSE/IT or MCA/M.Sc in CS/IT or any equivalent
degree are eligible
for the post.
Age Limit : Upper age limit of a
candidate for the post is 37 years as on 1st June, 2013.

fee, candidates must pay an amount of Rs. 1,000/- through Demand
Draft in favour of “Registrar, Gauhati University” payable at
SBI, GU branch. For candidates belonging to SC and ST category, fee
to be paid is Rs. 500/-. Filled up application form along with all
necessary documents should be sent to the following address so that
it reach by 18th July, 2013.
