Medical Officer, Nurse, Counselor, Data Manager posts under Assam State AIDS Control Society


Assam State AIDS Control Society invites application to fill up few vacant posts on contractual basis initially for a period of one year, later the engagement may be extended based on the performance or demand of the project. The candidates will be posted at the Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) Centers for the Injecting Drug Users (IDU) under Assam State AIDS Control Society, Khanapara, Guwahati- 22, after selection. 1. Name of the Post : Medical Officer
No. of Posts: 2
Salary: Rs. 36,000 per month
Qualifications: MBBS. Having MD in Psychiatry/Diploma in Psychiatry Medicine is preferred.
Selected candidates will be posted at Silchar Medical College & Hospital and Diphu Civil Hospital.

2. Name of the Post : Nurse
No. of Posts: 3
Salary: Rs. 9,000 per month
Qualifications: ANM from Govt. recognized institutions. Diploma Nursing or B.Sc Nursing will be preferred.
Selected candidates will be posted at Guwahati Medical College & Hospital, Silchar Medical College & Hospital and Diphu Civil Hospital.

3. Name of the Post : Counselor
No. of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 13,000 per month
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Psychology/Social Sciences/Humanities. Training in Counseling Drug Users and prior working experience with Drug Users is preferred.
Selected candidates will be posted at Silchar Medical College & Hospital.

4. Name of the Post : Data Manager
No. of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 13,000 per month
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree with diploma in computer application.
Selected candidates will be posted at Silchar Medical College & Hospital.
For all the above posts, the age of the applicants should not be more than 60 years as on 1st November, 2016. Local candidates with deserving qualifications will be given preferences.
